Manaccom can publish your software!

Manaccom is always on the lookout for quality software to add to our catalogue. Over the years we have built a reputation based on providing great software at really competitive prices.

If you have developed a software title and would like Manaccom to publish it, please read on. Remember . we republish in Australia (for international or already published developers) and we publish as well, which is great for developers looking for international reach.

Manaccom appreciates that different companies have different specialties. The developer does their job and we do our job . the publishing and marketing of computer software. We've been doing this for about 17 years now so we have a fairly good grasp on the situation, which developers often find comforting.

Remember . getting software to retail markets isn't easy! It can take some months to get a software title into stores from when a contract is signed! We work as fast as possible, but sometimes there are constraints.

So what's involved in getting Manaccom to publish your software?

Step 1: Manaccom and the developer decide to work together in a publishing arrangement. We sign an agreement to begin proceedings!

Step 2: The Developer sends us the master CD and artwork resources. If the product is a game it is sent off to the Office of Film and Literature Classification.

Step 3: We receive the materials and we do one final check of the master CD. Our grpahic designer starts the design of the packaging and CD label.

Step 4: Master CD is approved and sent off to the production facility, and our sales reps start taking pre-orders. It is realistic to assume that the presentation would be made at least eight weeks after the contract is signed. We also start PR and media releases.

Step 5: The packaged product is delivered at our warehouse and shipped the same day to the customers who ordered it.

Step 6: The product starts appearing in stores and happy customers start buying it!

So now you know the process in general. After that we basically have to wait for the stock to sell through the stores!

At the end of the four month period we should have a good feeling for how well the product is going to perform . one of three things will happen . . . .

We will get stock returned because the sell through has been disappointing
We will not get new orders . sell through has been "OK" but there is still sufficient stock on the shelf to sell through, without restocking for some time.
We keep getting orders as the shelf stock sells through and it is replaced.

There are certain things the developer can do to help the process along:

Things we really appreciate as being helpful are putting the demo of your title in as many download sites as possible and promote the product's availability on forums and internet news sites as well as in print magazines, if you have the ability. We'll be doing our best to secure international distribution with some of the companies we work with overseas.

Distribution

We have a number of services we provide to international distributors, retailers, OEM clients, other publishers and corporate clients.

For Distributors:

We can provide an exclusive or non-exclusive product line containing the exact content you are looking for. Our product ranges consist of budget games, productivity software and full price utilities, business applications, education titles and games. For Publishers:

We're always looking for international publishers who want to re-publish Manaccom software in overseas markets. For many of our products we are willing to consider the option to license the content to other publishers or on-line distribution companies. This for the simple reason that we will not be able to do an equally good job in every country on the planet and there are probably dozens of companies who are represented very well in specific markets. If you feel you could succesfully market one or more of our products under license then please contact us. For OEM Clients:

Most of our products are available for bundling with hardware, and we can offer very competitive rates for packaged product, just CD-ROMs or a license to replicate your own products. For Retailers:

We can create custom made content quite quickly, depending on the scale of the project. This could be a cookbook on CD-ROM for a supermarket chain or another type of specific retail product. The entire concept can be branded according to your wishes and supplied in the quantities you require and at the date you require them. A Christmas, Easter, Halloween or other CD-ROM can all be custom made at only a small investment.

For Corporate Clients:

This concept basically works similar to the retail concept of making a customised product for your company, but in this case it's not focussed on something you can sell in a store or even to consumers. Manaccom has the ability to put your catalogue on CD-ROM for you with an attractive menu system and interactive features if you desire this. We can also create internet based games, promotional games to give away as a freebie or interactive presentations of your company and your products and services.
