Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioHello nalm90
Try using the H.264 video codec
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioit's still not working. i've tried changing the quality from low to med to best but same thing. out of sync as the video plays longer.
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioWhat version are you running now.
Have you tried doing a uninstall\reinstall Do you have the latest Windows Media player installed, also do you have any other third party media codecs installed, sometimes having multiple codecs installed can throw things out.
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioi have this same problem and i have uninstalled and then reinstalled but it is still out of sync. Now my serial number won't work as i already used it before i unistalled the programme. You said something about third party codec programmes i was just wondering what exactly they are and if i don't have any of them on my computer how do i make the audio and video in sync?
thanks
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioTry downloading and installing the K-lite codec pack from http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm.
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioHi.
I am also facing a similar issue. I am trying to convert 40-42 minute .avi files to make them usable on my ipod touch. However, it comes out as a 30 minute .mp4 file and obviously the audio and video are not in sync. I have tried: 1. changing the setting to H.264 2. downloading the codec pack that was mentioned in the earlier forum. Both have not helped. Could somebody please tell me what to do? Thanks. Amelyn
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioThis is a very common problem for video files and there are some lengthy explainations as to why this happens.
There are many different ways of fixing this problem depending on the particular situation. A Google search for audion video sync finds a lot of suggestions... http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q ... =video+aud
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioHi...
I'm not sure if you understood my problem. In addition to the video and audio being out of sync, it just simply doesn't make sense that the duration of the clip is now only 30 minutes, when it was originally 42 minutes. So it's almost like all the video is going at superspeed (1.5x?) while the audio is travelling at normal speed, and at the end of 30 minutes the clip ends - the video having completed its run at the faster rate, but the audio is cut off. So, the problem is really the conversion of the original .avi file to the format accepted / used by itunes / ipod. Could you please help? Thanks. Amelyn
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioI have contacted the developers of this software as I am not sure what you could do about this problem unfortunately.
I will get back to you when I have a response.
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioI was wondering if a fix for this issue has been established?
I have found this only happens occasionally when I convert a 40 minute .avi file. Sometimes it converts as a 85meg .mp4 file which goes for 40 mins and then the other converted files are 60meg .mp4 file which only goes for 30 mins similar to the previous post.
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioIf you have tried the suggestions above and they haven't worked, then please contact Manaccom support directly at help@manac.com.au.
Thanks.
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioI see that there haven't been any posts on this issue since May 09. I'm having the same problem and hope that someone has a solution. I tried changing the codec setting to H.264 as suggested earlier but to no avail. The Manaccom helpdesk wasn't able to provide a solution.
Re: out of sync audio and video in i-studioWe have since found out from the developers that this usually happens with movies that have been run ripped by programs such as DVD Shrink.
