Nag on bottom of pdf

Postby Beerman on 05-12-2009 3:12 am

I have the latest version of Nitro PDF Pro 6 and have been running it for weeks with no problems. Suddenly today, I am seeing an advertisement for Nitro PDF (in color) on the bottom right of every pdf I make. It covers my company web address and while I can manually remove it, it takes time. I can't see anywhere where this is an option. is it? If so, I didn't turn it on. Any ideas how to permanently remove it?
Thanks in advance.

Try uninstalling Nitro PDF, then download and run the removal tool from http://www.manac.com.au/downloads/Nitro ... p_tool.exe.

Reboot the computer, then re-install Nitro PDF and see how that goes.

If Nitro PDF still creates PDFs with the watermark after doing that then you will need to contact the developers directly at support@nitropdf.com.

Thanks for the info. But I want to make sure I described my problem properly. It's not a watermark, it's an actual logo listing where to download the free trial. It's a registered version and I don't think even the trial version would do this. Take a look at what I'm seeing and how it's blocking my web address.

That's usually what appears on an unregistered version, so it sounds like something has gone wrong with the program's registration. Either way, you would want to try the above re-install method.
